Who is Milotso?

Growing up in the Milwaukee area, playing college basketball was my dream. I loved the NCAA tournament and Marquette was my favorite team. I had an opportunity of a lifetime to play college basketball at North Dakota State where I learned first hand the power of the athlete platform and the impact of mentorship. I’m inspired to build Milotso to make a significant positive impact on the next generation of young leaders in our community.

Tom Foti

Co-Founder & President

I was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI and attended Rufus King High School. After excelling as a multi-sport athlete and becoming a track all-American, I eventually earned a scholarship to the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After graduating, I became a strength and conditioning coach in the NBA for 20 years. I had a great professional career, I worked great jobs but with Milotso I now work to make a difference with our youth.  I’ve now turned my focus to co-founding Milotso as a way to share my story in hopes of inspiring other kids to dream big and reach their potential.

Robert Hackett

Co-Founder & Program Director (Partnership Contact)

I grew up in Madison, WI, in a family that motivated me to always dream big. That’s why I pursued a D1 walk-on opportunity to play volleyball at Xavier University. In addition to earning a starting position and scholarship by my junior year, I found community service as a student athlete to be one of the most rewarding aspects of my career. I’ve co-founded Miltoso as a way to continue fulfilling my passion for servant leadership. 

Sam (Foti) Rosowski

Co-Founder & Director of Marketing

I was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI and attended Rufus King High School. I was blessed with a scholarship to play basketball at North Dakota State University. I’m currently a guidance counselor at a public school in Madison, WI, and I work with kids everyday who need support. I have a particularly strong desire to create more awareness and opportunity for underprivileged kids and Milotso is a great platform to create that impact.

John Milton

Co-Founder & Director of Development

As a multi-sport athlete growing up in Madison, WI, I was fortunate to continue my volleyball career at Marquette University. I’m purpose driven and I knew I wanted to do more to create change and opportunity in our community using the power of my student-athlete platform. I helped found Miltoso as a way to give back to the community and help inspire student-athletes across the country to do the same.
